Water & Waves

Somtimes different circumstances let us se things we might not see if it wasn't for the particular situatin. Or a person. We also might never meet somebody if it wasn't for the fact, that...Insert here your reply. Thanx to photography, I've also met cool people, I'd probbaly never meet if taking pics wasn't my passion. And this year I might have no holidays if it wasn't for the fact, that my on line met model couldn't come to Warsaw for the shoot. My summer plans have changed and so I've decided I'm going there. For holidays and shoot, of course! I went to Giżycko just for 3 days (5 if you count the journey), but def had a great ime! The shoot was "coursed" though, ha ha. I mean, the first day we had the shoot in the lake, after a short time it got pretty cloudy. So glad my friend who was watching the she session from the shore, noticed, that it'd be raining, or else it wouldn't be fun. Then again, the rain did catch us, but luckily we were all dressed and heading toward the bus top (which, btw-wasn't so close to the place we took the pics) and we did get wet, but oh well, for pics I can sacrifice;-)  Too bad I didn't make a vid of it, that'd be fun to watch. Well, lesson learnt, gotta do it next ime ;-)

It was a lake, yet, the waves were kinda "big". And my model had quite a lot of troubles to stay relatively still or even just not to "fell". The waves also felt like "playing" with my cam, whci I did not like at all.

Kid session

I can't believe how fast the times goes by... I remember I couldn't wait for summer (or even spring) to come and now it's almost August. I hope I'll get to "use" the pretty weather and the views (the greet trees, the grass etc) and capture it as much, as possible...to have something to look at on the cold winter days.
Today I'm posting my second kid session. I have to say I had a great time. My model was such a poser! Seriously, I'm so looking fwd to another shoot with her. Maybe in the fall, so that the scenery would be different. Right now I've got in plans some glamour/fashion and my holiday's all gonna be about photos, which means a 3 day shoot. Or maybe even 5... Fingers crossed, so that the weather's good when I get there;-)

Fashion shoot-part 2

Ok, so here's the second part of my fashion shoot. I'm not sure if I'll add some more later on. I don't want o post many similar pics, as I don't think it'd be interesting. But I do hope to get to shoot my model and her friend by either the ned of the month or in the beginning of July. Plus, I've plans for another 3 shoots, 2 of which should be fashion too. And maybe some retro... We'll see.
I called the part of the session "The secret garden". If you've read the book/seen the movie, you'll know (I hope) what I mean;-)

Fashion shoot

Back in May I had my first fashion shoot. And I loved it! I never thought I'd enjoy this kind of pics. At the beginning of my "photo adventure", I just enjoyed taking pics of friends and my models. Later on, I realized that standard portraits aren't so much fun for me anymore. I'm def not a fashion freak, I don't fallow the new trends, don't really care what's in and out, but I still did get interested in fashion photography... I could even stand in frint of some store window and stare at either some cool poster (I'm talking about some clothing store, that is), or just fanky dressed models... I even pay much more attention to the accessory dept in clothing stores. Kinda freaky, lol. Anyway, I've decided I'd try to do this kind of a shoot. Was afraid how it'd turn, as it's a different type of photo than plain portait. Soooo, here's my (and my lovely model's) job. I'm looking forward to do another sesion with her, as, apart from the obvious fun while doing what I love, we had a lot of fun overall. Here's one part of the session. I'l add more soon, I just thought it'd be more proper to devide the pictures on 2 groups, as there's a small difference between the "theme" of the 2 "sets"

Spring Time!

It's warm, it's green, it's sunny. It's spring! :-) Fianlly possibility of getting some nice pics in the sun. I went with my firend (who, btw, after a couple of sessions, started posing "for real";-) I got some nice, warm shots I though I'd share. Not much of a story to tell, so just enjoy the photos:-)

While it was snowing heavily...

It got really warm and you can feel Spring coming up... Though I thought I'd post  afew pics from Feb. It wasn't very cold, but it did snow really heavily, so it was pretty hard to get a decent shot. My model was really driven and so she stood just in a thin dress...
