Rock All The Way

In August I had a session, that was completely different from my previous ones. I have wanted to do a fashion shoot, but couldn't find the right model... And here I got a model who knew exactly how to pose, who enjoys dressing up and of ourse, doesn't mind being photographed;-) I should add, that this time I also got to work witha  mkae up artist. So, yep, it kinda felt like a pro shoot. Especially, since there were two photogs, lol. Anyway, I normally don't put any behind the scenes pics, as there's just nothing to be captured. However, this time, I decided to post the before and after (makeover session) too. I hope you like them. This is how our model loked before the makover. I should add, that putting on all the eye shadow, etc takes quite a lot of time, so credit goes to the make up artist, Iga.

This is how the make up "bag", or should I say "box" looked like. Do you still wonder why does make up take so much time? ;-)

Getting the Sun in your hair...

My second session with the model. This time it was even warmer and since at some times, the Sun was very strong, I thought I'd use it to get some nice effects. Hopefully it worked :-)

I think the title of the posts says it's all. Oh, and I know, head shots again, the pics below are from my last shoot, so starting "today" I hope I'll improve by getting some full body snaps ;-)

Just a few shots

I just realized, that a big part of my recently taken photos, are head shots. I'm a big fan of close ups, but I also like getting the entire model in the frame. And I guess it means I'm one step forward in my learning? After all, it's all about getting more pracitice and learning on my mistakes. This is a session from June, so yeah, portraits all the way ;-)

First "kid photoshoot"

Back in June, I got to take a bunch of pic of some little cutie. At first she was just playing, but at the end of the session, she actually posed for me! She was so cute. And very talkative, considering we've never met before. It was really sunny (well, yeah, it's summer, after all ;), so some pics are slightly overexposed, but I liked them, so decided to post them, anyway.  Enjoy! :-)

Hello, DSLR world! :-)

Yes, I finally got myself my dream DSLR. Yaay! "Working" with it is so much more fun/easier, than it was with my compact cam. It's so much faster. Actually, at times it gets too fast and so allows me to take much more pics than it used to be;-) I still only have the kit lens... But still, the difference with both-taking pic and the image quality, is clearily noticable:-)
I'm still just a beginner at editing, so I realize there are people, that would probably say the pics need more editing.Oh well, you "have to deal" with my basic edits.
